Does Mango take part in Black Friday?

Hell yeah it does – and in a BIG way. For the past four years, Mango has celebrated Black Friday by dropping some pretty impressive deals including a blanket 30% off in the run-up to BF and sometimes even 50% off sitewide.

When is Mango's Black Friday 2023 sale?

Black Friday always falls on the fourth weekend of November which, this year, is the 24th. However, Mango has been known to kick off its sale a days early (lucky us), so keep those eyes peeled.

What is the Mango Black Friday sale like?

We love how Mango always switches the deals up on Black Friday. A couple of years back, in 2018 and 2019, the brand dropped a promo code for 30% off everything on site. Blanket discounts are the best kind on Black Friday, because you can nab new season items for so much less. For the past three years, however, the sale has been a classic clearance sitch with up to 50% off selected lines. It is harder to nab your size, yes, but if and when you snag a pair of leather boots or a forever coat for half price, you're laughing.

What was in the Mango Black Friday sale last year?

Literally EVERYTHING. From new-season knitwear and coats, to shoes and jewellery. It wasn't just womenswear either, kids and men's clothes were also included in the promotion – which was pretty ideal for Xmas present buying.

So, what is Black Friday?

Black Friday is the shopping event of the year tbh and is something we always look forward to. It first started back in '30s America when the department store Macy's cashed in on the annual Thanksgiving Day parade (fans of Gossip Girl, will remember Dan and Serena watching it on TV in season six).

The term 'Black Friday' wasn't technically an official term until the '80s and more recenlty Amazon was the first retailer to bring Black Friday across the pond to the UK, offering online discounts and deals on the same day as the sales in the US. Then of course, supermarket Asda started creating some serious fuss with huge discounts on TVs and tech in store.

Now the rest of the UK has defs caught on to the potential pre-Christmas profit and the rest is history.
